That's where the Fire by Design Swimming Pool Certified Kit Upgrade comes in. Your unit will be fitted with a Low-Voltage Transformer and Electronic Ignition System (30 V DC) that comply with current safety regulations.
According to Section 680.22 of the National Electric Code, if you plan to install your Fire Feature in or within 5 feet of a swimming pool or spa, it is mandatory to utilize equipment that does not exceede 30 Volts DC.
